Call for Speakers
MESA International announces a call-for-speakers to support our new 2023 Virtual Event: Smart Manufacturing NOW! The inaugural event, scheduled for May 8-11, will highlight Smart Manufacturing through the years, where we are at NOW and some predictions on what the future looks like. The event will also celebrate MESA’s 30th year showcasing excellence around Smart Manufacturing.
Prospective presenters are invited to submit original contributions relevant to the theme of the event. Presentations can address solutions in companies of any size and in any industry or geography. Presentations should feature use cases highlighting MESA’s new MESA Model: A Framework for Smarter Manufacturing. A use case is an example that combines two or more lifecycles from the model in a smart way by utilizing one or more enabling technologies and connected by one or more of the cross-lifecycle threads (see below).
Preferences will be given to those companies whose topics support the vision and themes of the event. To be considered, presenters must complete the online submission form in its entirety.
Presentations will be selected according to the following criteria:
- Appropriateness and alignment of the topic with the event vision and themes (see below)
- Focus on how your operations management / plant-wide IT systems support the connections between the different manufacturing lifecycles/cross-lifecycle threads/enabling technologies. Subject matter may range from planning and implementation to challenges and results.
- Ability to show operational metrics and/or financial metrics
- Features Manufacturer/Producer presenters or a joint presentation between a Manufacturer / Producer and Vendor / Consultant.
