MESA International has assembled a team of world renowned Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the industry to create the content and instruct the various courses that make up the Global Education Program.
Important Note: MESA Instructors are required to disclose all proprietary interest discussed during training events or programs. MESA goes to all efforts during the content development process to reference all sources and to eliminate commercialism. Instructors are approved by MESA through our MESA Authorized Instructor Program and are contracted directly for the training events by MESA Authorized Training Providers.
Michel Devos

Michel Devos has been active for more than 30 years in delivering software solutions for process industries, mainly in metal and food industries. He started working at Cimtech as project manager for SCADA implementations. After a merge, he joined the AspenTech product marketing team with worldwide responsibilities on Information management family of products. In 2002, he participated in the launch of Synthetis (Louvain-la-neuve, BE), acting in the management team. In 2012, he started his own business as an independent expert helping customers with the objective of implementing a MES/MOM solution. He is assisting them to define strategic plans for Business Processes, Organization and Industrial IT. Currently Michel is currently vice-chair of the MESA EMEA Board and member of the MESA finance committee. He is one of the authorized instructors for the Global Education Program setup by MESA International. He is also member of the "CLUB-MES", organization promoting MES in French speaking countries (France, Belgium and Switzerland).
Gerhard Greeff

Gerhard believes that a properly designed and implemented Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) System can add tremendous business value to any manufacturer. MOM, when done right, will improve operational effectiveness and efficiency and will assist in increased business value for companies from discreet manufacturing to continuous processing.
In his previous role as GM:IOT at Altron Bytes Systems Integration, Gerhard was responsible for the IOT and Process Management and Control (PMC) Practice, which focus on IOT and MOM. In his current role at ATS Global, he is responsible for business development across 25 countries.
His chosen field of focus is MES/MOM and Gerhard has published various articles about MES and MOM systems in trade publications, a chapter in “The MOM Chronicles: ISA-95 Best Practices Book 3.0” and a book “Practical E-Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management” through Newnes Press in 2004. Gerhard co-authored three MESA White Papers on the concept and management of the Time-in-State Metric and reviewed a number of other MESA White Papers. Gerhard has also Chaired the MESA Southern Africa Special Interest Group for 7 years.
Gerhard is a MESA Authorized Instructor for the Global Education Program and instructs programs in English.
Gerard Ipskamp

Gerard Ipskamp is a senior Business Consultant for manufacturing processes and IT. As consultant and advisor Gerard has over 20 years’ experience in improving operational processes of industrial enterprises in Europe in a large variety of industry markets (Food & Beverage, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, High Tech and Building, beside several others). For Gerard people and change management are equally important to processes and IT tools to achieve improvements. As a graduated chemist from the University of Nijmegen the understanding of the customer processes is natural.
Using the knowledge in many areas (like production, quality and product master data) Gerard has experience in IT master plans, business and IT architectures, Business Cases and roadmaps. Combined with a strong sense for stakeholder management and change management this results in high added value in for example a trusted advisor role or as a lecturer. Being a lecturer is for Gerard a natural extension of his 10 years’ experience as lecturer for higher professional education in the Netherlands.
John Jackiw

John Jackiw is a member of the consulting group at DASSAULT SYSTEMES John has many years of experience in manufacturing in a wide variety of industries including aerospace, consumer products, automotive, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage. His background in manufacturing, project management and identifying and linking metrics to value and business intelligence enables him to share best practices in creating useful and visible metrics, and better business analytics. This is the foundation for making clients more responsive to change and in the end more successful. John holds a degree in electrical engineering with a specialty in computer science. John is an active member and contributor to (MESA) International and other organizations. As a MESA member he has served and continues to serve and contribute to MESA.
Guillaume Mouquot
Guillaume has 9 years’ experience in MES/MOM projects in Europe as a French MOM consultant, accompanying industrial enterprises along their way to Industry 4.0.
His experience started with MES project implementation in a highly regulated environment following FDA and CFR 21 part 11 recommendations. This is completed with Pre-Sales activities in France along with Business Consulting for international Industry 4.0 MOM projects in a wide range of industries such as Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, etc. His educational background is in bio-informatics, leveraging informatic solutions to manage and give meaning to biological data. Guillaume is always cheerful, eager to work and pragmatic in his analysis. He can lead and coordinate a team in order to get the job done. His relationship with the customer is always open and based on mutual trust.

Robbert Ottenhof

Robbert Ottenhof is a Global Modernization Consultant at ATS. For more than 12 years, Robbert has been leading the design, development and deployment of MOM solutions at large manufacturers globally. From early-stage engagements identifying operational challenges, required capabilities and applicable technologies, through solution delivery and to post go-live support, Robbert has been involved with all stages of the lifecycle, all with the same goal; help improve production and business performances by making use of information systems and other innovative and emerging technologies. Robbert has experience in many different industry sectors, varying from medical devices and automotive to consumer-packaged goods (CPG), tobacco, dairy and food & beverages.
Robbert holds a MSc degree in Telematics from the University of Twente (Netherlands). The results of his Master’s Thesis research in the field of automated absence detection of high schoolers was published as chapter of a book compiled by an award-winning Dutch law school professor.
Robbert has his MES/MOM certificate from MESA International through the Global Education Program.
Jan Snoeij

Jan Snoeij is President and Senior Consultant of the Manufacturing Operations Management Institute, an Expert Division of ATS Global. As thought leader in his field, Jan specializes in education and consultancy services in manufacturing operations management. For more than 35 years, Jan has assisted companies to help improve their production and business performances by making use of information systems and other innovative and ‘smart’ technologies. He has broad experiences in many different industry sectors, varying from metals and automotive to chemicals and from high tech electronics to food and pharmaceuticals.
Jan holds an MS degree in Applied Physics from the Technical University of Eindhoven. He has presented papers about a broad range of subjects related to manufacturing and business performance improvement at many industry events.
For many years, Jan has served MESA in the International and EMEA boards and in various committees. As a MESA Approved Instructor, he delivered Global Education Programs from its very start in 2011. He was awarded the MESA International Outstanding Contributor Award.
Craig Vincent

Craig Vincent is the MES Manager of one of the leading system integrators in New Zealand. He has authored articles for industry publications and presented at user forums and MESA events. His technical expertise includes a background in Automation and IT and has for the latter half of his career focused on MES implementation, as well as promoting awareness of MES within industry. Craig has lived and worked on three continents and enjoys experiencing new cultures in the workplace. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronic Engineering from the Durban University of Technology and a Certificate of Competency in MES/MOM Methodologies from MESA. He is passionate about growth in business and people and has a core strength in aligning technical solutions with business requirements.
